Discover what’s been happening in the recent archaeological excavations

Three public events are being held the week commencing 15th September in association with the digs at Swordle and Cama nan Geall.

Sunday September 15th – Camas nan Geall dig – Open Day 10am – 2pm

A drop in event for visitors to find out what’s been going on at the Camas nan Geall archaeological excavation, including tours of the dig site. Everyone very welcome.

Monday 16th September -The Archaeology of Swordle and Camas nan Geall 7.30pm – 8.30pm

Come along and get an update on the arcaeological digs at Swordle and Camas nan Geall, from Phil Richardson and Ian Hill, from Archaeology Scotland and Harp Archaeology.

Wednesday 18th September – Tour of the Swordle archaeological dig 10am – 11.30am

Come along for a tour of the excavation site of the horizontal mill at Swordle. Find out what the Ardnamurchan Transitions Project team have been getting up to over the last few weeks. All welcome.
